So homecoming, halloween and hell on campus?!

 Well for starters, we're alive. Well, mostly.  My schedule is a killer, here I thought I was going light with a course in neurolinguistics, well I thought wrong! Anyhow, football season is in full swing (disaster for us Raiders, I don't know what we're doing!)

On a good? note, we've nominated Kayla for the homecoming queen/court.

We have a few friends in the running, but thought it'd be a good thing to "enlist her"

    Homecoming Queen, or Court, ooh. Do you know who's going for homecoming King? It would be fun to see who she might be paired up with.
    Hmmm, costumes. I think you'd look great as Spider Gwen, or Medusa? But whatever you want.
    Kayla as the sheep would be fun. I think the breast exposure of the spider would make for a tough night, and I don't see her as being predator, anyway. Same for the shark. That first one, the gold with all the lacing would look good on her, I think. Is it a fox? Could Dave be a fox hunter?

Thanksgiving at Mom's

So everyone stayed on campus for Thanksgiving, they don't give us much extra time off, so if we left we'd all be exhausted. Becs, Paige and I debated  making "Thanksgiving dinner" at our apartment but our kitchen just isn't big enough, and I'm not sure our oven could even handle a big full turkey! lol So, the options were the cafeteria (which was doing a spread) or Mom's (guess where we went) lol anyhow... so when I was little, my mom would look for any reason to dress up. Holidays especially, I was to be "dressed for dinner" that meant from head to toe. For some reason, I still feel the urge to dress up...so I did...I wore a black sweater dress...Now, I heard from Dave/Fiona, that she didn't have anything appropriate (non skimpy) to wear, so I went over to Mercedes and Jill's apartment (great gals! - Dave has a crush on Jill, in case you forgot!)  Anyhow, both of those girls have put in the work at the gym and both dropped a ton of weigh
