Mia's DuPont Life

 So I talked everyone in our group into going to the craft store (Tiffany's Crafts, just off Gregory (NE corner of campus) - and no, that's not a paid plug... but they had flat rate easter bonnet/handbag crafting for $10 all supplies included... Here's some of what we made: this one is mine (complete with dinosaurs and eggs! lol This one is Bec's (isn't it pretty? There's real plants on it!) This one is Ashleigh's This one is Fiona's Paige and Kayla posing in theirs. As you can see, we had a blast and made some good stuff!!! We have an amazing plan for Easter, so stay tuned!

dear kayla, denial is not just a river in egypt. signed, the rest of us I'm gonna just leave this here.... kayla was trying to say "nothing happened" - does this look like nothing to you? A little backstory....when any of us go out, we tend to take along some back up, just in case...so I joined them at Angelini's (a wonderful Italian restaurant) I wasn't with them - with them, I was at another table but I went with this guy Thran. We had a good time and I got to keep and eye on her... but uh, yeah pics don't lie.

 So, it's been a while...but Kylie Gable and Mistress DJ of Candy Apple Press seem very amused by what we're doing here. They interviewed us a while back and needless to say, took that interview and helped us put it into words for a book! If you click on the book cover, it will take you to our latest book! Now here's something I just learned. There is something in BDSM, especially in the way Mistress DJ does her thing. It's called honorifics. Here's a link if you'd like to learn more: Dominant & Submissive Honorifcs in BDSM — KYNK 101 but, the jist of it is: Domme, Mistress, Ma'am, Dominatrix etc are all capital letters. sub, submissive, sissy, pet etc are all small letters. The same would be true of using people's names. So, if you'll notice, Kylie Gable, Mistress DJ, and me (Mia) are all capital letters and kayla is...well, not...lol. I'm not surprised at all she's whining  about that "capital letter thing"

 I keep getting told I'm so mean. That I am always plotting against Kayla. That's simply not the case. I hung out with David a few days ago and thought it only fair to do the same with Kayla. She can actually be quite fun when she's not whining. Anyhow, I took her to Boba Tea:  They have a great little set up with games and several walls/backdrops to get your picture done, We chose to do the B&W shoot! (Cute right?) Then we played Mastermind. I haven't seen that since I was a kid! Kayla was remarkably good. But, I still won.  (She is incredibly competitive, I know I am always accused of the same!) Or go learn about it here. We had a pretty good time, all things considered. 

 I think it was by that writer, Kylie Gable....anyhow. Long story short (I won't spoiler it so you can go read it) Bur, there's a special Easter Egg hunt...and let's just say that Kayla's intuation as a "girl" may be a bit sharper than previously anticipated... I *might* be taking a cue from that book! Let's do some math: + = What Mia has planned *insert villanous laugh here*

 You may be wondering where Fiona is...and what she's been up to...that's a good question! Since Kayla is complaining about skirt fatigu e or thinking I'm up to something... Me? Up to something? I hung out with Fiona on St. Patricks. Would you think she'd be more fun than Kayla? Well she was. Not one complaint. She stayed quiet...and before someone says it's because Fiona is scared of me? Pish Posh! She just has manners.

  Well... since someone is still trying to make "Skirt Fatigue" Happen. .. (it's never going to happen!) I thought I'd share her outfit that I think would be great! (and take note you mcwhiny sassypants (yes, you kayla!) it's NOT A SKIRT isn't this cute??? I mean would you rather that or these:: Besides that, you can match me: here's my outfit for St. Paddy's...(eveyrone's Irish for a day right?) I mean really, what could be better than being twinsies...sort of....ish?!?!

  about my easter bonnet... I'm thinking that the group should have a easter bonnet/easter bag making party. In fact, you're invited too! I'm going to see if we can hold it in the game room at the complex. (info to follow) bring: artificial flowers, bits of material (or old clothes we can scrap) ribbons, etc. Even the Queen got in on the Easter bonnet thing. So Becs and I got a head start: heheheh It'll be between St. Patricks Day and Spring break... stay tuned!

  So, perhaps you saw kayla whining about us wearing jeans and her having to wear skirts. It's not like this is new...but occasionally...she tries to fight the rules. Speaking of: you may have noticed, or will soon notice that she is carrying a purse/pocketbook wherever she goes now. New rule. If you see her without one, please let us know ASAP!

 So as I said before, this semester is a killer. Prof Raingruber I swear is attempting to single handed solve (or maybe break?) the time line. Not only that, I have an essay on reboots of classic shows/films that I'm putting together, it accounts for 30% of my grade so... (my big point is The Color Purple being redone....badly.) I digress. The smile is fake. The cake is a lie. (IYKYK) I mean if you've not seen it, watch The Color Purple. (The Original) Even better, read it: (Literature last semester covered it) By Ms Alice Walker. I need to get a shirt made for Kayla...with this on it. LOL

 Welp, I was alllll excited. New Boba Tea shop on campus, it's over by the Wright Building. (Off of Muncy Way). Anyhow...Cute little boba shop, couches, pillows with boba, smells great everything seems to scream "Mia has a new hangout!" until.... Yep. Powdered boba mix. Bleah. I mean how hard is it to brew some black tea daily? Maybe get froggy and some green tea too? very dissapointing.

 Year of the Wood Dragon! my mom sent this shirt so I figured I'd better wear it... Anyhow, new year new...? Nah, Prof Raingruber is going to be the end of me...I spend sooooooo much time in the library this semester I think I may just pack a sleeping back next trip. lol Sad but true. Speaking of holidays... St Patricks day is coming up...check out Mom's decor: Cute right?? I don't know what we're going to do with Kayla other than demand she have a date, I think she and Paige are both Irish...although what's the saying? Everyone's Irish on St. Paddys'?? This was Kayla last year .
