Mia's DuPont Life

 yeah so, I think most of us are still recovering. I was thinking...even though I won't be a DuPont, this whole 4th bash has become a thing, so wherever I am, it's probably going to happen. But, a great time was had by all. I must say, kayla is being quite diligent with her studies, though she made it (yes, with Xochitl!) I need to check in and see how that's progressing. The whole gang was there. Fiona was looking lovely as well... I brought 4 boozed watermelons, but SOMEONE brought extra, I saw a total of 20 watermelons...so yeah, we are ALL recovering. like everyone has their own! lol anyhow, life is beginning to move on...(there's life after DuPont) but, as I said, for now I'm staying with Becs and Paige...but...Trini has made the invite to stay with him...stay tuned. for now, I'm staying put. By the time it was time for fireworks, between people on Mom's patio and those in the grass we hit over 100 people (biggest yet) were you there?? let me know or ta...

 First off, kayla has a new job! It's that time of year again!!! You KNOW I am known for my 4th of july bash complete with vodka watermelon!! Everyone is welcome, so if you're in the area, please come! I am going to pust flyers in the mail room and laundry rooms here at our complex too...(either new students, or people new to the area might like to have somewhere to go for the holiday!) Now, Dave will get to go as Dave and not Fiona, which I'm certain will get kayla in a tizzy. But, he is attending with Jill (yes, they are still a thing) Ya'll...And yes, for you nosey people in my email, Trini will be coming (the Doordash guy) - he has great summer fling potential. One of these days maybe I'll find the one, but...that's probably not today.

 Well, the 4th is tomorrow. We will have a "big bash" on the lawn (south lawn) in front of Mom's under the big tree. There will be music, picnic blankets, a boozymelon and bbq. (Mom's is actually helping me with my little party!) kayla has found a date (an admirer of hers) and we all know who Fiona is going with...*cough Jill cough cough* but this girl.... Needless to say her date Brandon has been asked to bring her flowers (by us) and we're going to see if she takes care of them better (under threat) another interesting point to share... kayla is under the idea that they get to both wear boy clothes tomorrow. Here's the thing...1. the boys clothes we found in the apartment were kaylas! 2. she threw Fiona under the bus with it... any guesses as to who will be "allowed" to wear boy clothes and who will not?? hehe. kayla is going to have a temper tantrum.
