Summer time and the living is easy?

 So, we survived Sophomore year...mostly.


kidding, I did well. Holding my 4.0 dunno about other people: glances at Kayla...


That said, I finally caught a break and am catching some rays....

So, summer break is here.








kayla wrapped up her internship at the end of the semester...there were MANY adventures there...and I told her I expect to see and hear some of them here...but we gave her a week off considering the internship being pretty intense...

BUT

Mercedes (Jill's roommate) may have a lead on a job more suited to kayla's....personality *giggle*. Time will tell, I think it'd be a perfect fit! I'll let her tell you more about that...


BUT...

things you should know:

fiona and jill are much more serious....you guys think this could actually go anywhere??

with a few of the 21st birthday celebrations coming up over summer...kayla's, mine, Kats, Becs and Fiona...so there will be some big birthday blowouts!!

Also, my 4th of July party!

(my bday is July 14th by the way!)

--guess who kayla's sisters have been tormenting??? Jacob!!! Remember him??

well...it's been rumored that "he decided against DuPont for college." (WONDER WHY? LOLOL) that said, we are going to make sure he makes it for kayla's bday!!! STAY TUNED!


anyhow...I'm still working at the museum, but no school over summer. I'm going to take it easy peasy lemon squeazy!!!

    Yayyyy ok so first i love your bathing suit sooooo much. Second yay I hope kayla is never allowed to be a man ever again. And I'm sooo happy for Fiona and Jill! Sound like a fun summer!

    Wasn't this your junior year? Time flies! Everyone wants to know more about Kayla's internship - she really seemed to be holding back in the details.
    Sounds like a fun summer ahead with lots of chances for sine wild times. Time for Kayla to really step out and get ready for all the opportunities that await her!

      no, we're starting our junior year. Gosh! Don't rush us! kayla is on like a 9 year plan tho I think...we're all taking them at our own pace...I'll probably be done in a year and a half..though I'm going to Masters or PhD

    Wow, I'm shocked Kayla made it in under the wire for her update. I was sure she was just looking for an excuse for you all to make her summer even girlier. But I guess she's finally starting to embrace her fate and just being the girly girl she is. Very excited to hear about her new job and Jacob's fate!

 So a couple of things..... 1. who is going to be kayla's valentine?? fiona will be with jill...but who will be kayla's sweetie for the day? 2. Me? I'm doing galentines day. forget all that nonsense! I'm going to the spa for the day! That said, this semester is setting up to be a killer...BUT at least we have kayla looking for more appropriate work (she's going to be an *snicker* intern) Maybe we should get her a blue dress!!! now on a fun school note, I'm taking astronomy...and there's a great app called Stellarium that I recommend to anyone that skywatches...aim your phone at the sky and it tells you what is over head/on the horizon so you can see with your phone, then look naked-eye for the constellation etc... Stellarium Astronomy Software  is where you can find it!!

 so first off... poll:  for summer should kayla be: blonde? brunette? Red? Black? something "different"?  let us know! As you probably saw on kayla's blog  we have another story out with Candy Apple Press  Most everyone contributed, and as usual kayla thinks denial is a solid defense.  let's be honest...dupont guys are guys like kevin. it's dry there... it's good to be home...lovely night at the club last night, going out with him again tonight...hmm. he might be a keeper... Stay tuned...we go back to school in the middle of the month... geez, break is so short.
