Birthday dress shopping

 so we had a bit of a girls day out. 





somehow...I got tasked with taking kayla to the mall to shop for her party dress. I have to admit, she can be fun at times (don't tell her I said that!!) I'll deny it!



I thought this yellow dress was cute, so we went with this...and got some shoes to go with it..(you'll have to wait for the party for the reveal!!)




We ran into Mercedes at the mall, she was looking a fire as ever, but she was getting her goddess twists and then her nails so she didn't have time to shop with us...she showed me her outfit for the party though...I'm going to feel like Cinderella PRE fairy godmother in comparison with these clothes!!!




Please RSVP by the end of the weekend for the party!!

    The yellow dress is so cute, what there is of it. She'll need to be really careful sitting. Watching her posture even just standing and walking. Oh, well, that just means she'll be super aware of what she's wearing throughout the party; how delicate and feminine she'll be.

      we had her try the whole fit on when we got back! I put up a photo...she gets a pass with her sour lemon face for the try on, but you better believe she'll be all smiles saturday.

      She looks pretty cute in it, I posted the try on...that said, I don't know about the tights, they are a little lolita or...idk...but she actually picked those...so...

 So a couple of things..... 1. who is going to be kayla's valentine?? fiona will be with jill...but who will be kayla's sweetie for the day? 2. Me? I'm doing galentines day. forget all that nonsense! I'm going to the spa for the day! That said, this semester is setting up to be a killer...BUT at least we have kayla looking for more appropriate work (she's going to be an *snicker* intern) Maybe we should get her a blue dress!!! now on a fun school note, I'm taking astronomy...and there's a great app called Stellarium that I recommend to anyone that skywatches...aim your phone at the sky and it tells you what is over head/on the horizon so you can see with your phone, then look naked-eye for the constellation etc... Stellarium Astronomy Software  is where you can find it!!

the blonde summer doll...(poll and more)

 so first off... poll:  for summer should kayla be: blonde? brunette? Red? Black? something "different"?  let us know! As you probably saw on kayla's blog  we have another story out with Candy Apple Press  Most everyone contributed, and as usual kayla thinks denial is a solid defense. (she still picks the strangest battles) but it was the adventures of summer in our new apartments...some behind the scenes stories we didn't put here...so enjoy!
